Timpani are percussion instruments. They are membraphones because they are made of skin and they are played with sticks or beaters.<\/span><\/p>\n

They are cylindrical drums of a single patch with metal frames and are easy to carry. <\/span><\/p>\n

The most important is that they can be tuned to different pitches, for this reason they are instruments with definite pitch.<\/span><\/p>\n
